Latest Activities At DancingCloud Kennel

March 07. We got lots of photos and news from everyone over Christmas. Gina, our silver bitch had her first litter two weeks ago, and everyone is really growing. Rian has made great strides with Mason, getting 2 winners dog awards in February and march. Laya and Kiri are back competition in agility with a busy schedule in March. Banjo is busy growing hair and training for PCA. Sunny has fully recovered from having her puppies and we will start showing her next month. We have 4 young puppies that we kept from Laya's and Sunny's litters, Grace and Neo (whites), Sheena and Gunny (blacks). Jane is very busy teaching them to perform correctly and we look forward to showing them in the puppy class at PCA in June.

July 02.  Well PCA 07 has come and gone. We all had a fun time and made a lot of new friends. Like everyone else we had good and not so good results but the competition was tough and fair and there were soooo many beautiful dogs. Neo made the cut in the 6-9 month dog, while the rest of our confirmation kids looked beautiful and performed well. The big news was the PCA Agility Competition, Laya getting 1st Place in the NB Std  and Kiri ( a Laya daughter) getting 3rd Place NB JW. The week after PCA Banjo headed south to Orlando, FL., and got a 4 point major to finish his AKC Championship, so the Laya x Eric mating has got its first Champion and we hope Kiri will finish hers soon.

July 13.   Our latest addition is now 4 months old, Rena. Rena is a silver girl from the mating of Gina and Max. Rena has a wonderful personality, great body and fluid movement. Photos of Rena can be seen by going to the photo section, individual dogs and then click on Rena.

October     What a wonderful month. Both Sunny and Laya had beautiful litters 4 days apart. It was amazing as each mother had 5 girls each. All the puppies look great and there are photos of them in the Puppies Available Page. We attended the Marietta Show in Atlanta at the end of October and showed a bunch of young girls, Kiri, Millie, and Luna. All performed very well and we expect great things from them soon. Kiri has really advanced in agility and now really attacks the weave, Kiri thinks she is a Border Collie in poodle clothing. Both Banjo and Gracie are showing tremendous affinity for agility so they both started training this month. Grace at 21 inches is a little small for confirmation but on the agility field is so fast it really is amazing, so I am going to concentrate her efforts in this area. Between the Show Dogs and work things really got almost too much, so a young girl, Carlie Newhart has come aboard and is splitting her time between helping in the Grooming & Boarding Kennel and the Show Dogs. Carlie loves agility so she is going to handle Grace, the two of them get on very well. Theresa and Stella have also started agility training so we look forward to hearing more of their exploits.

December.  We could not be more proud as parents. It has been a great year for our family as our son graduated for the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in May, he then got a great position as Lead Engineer with a manufacturing company in Atlanta and just last week purchased his first home.
